One killed in Light Plane Crash in Northern Australia
Queensland Police have announced that a man has died Sunday after the light aircraft he was piloting crashed in northeastern Australia.
The plane went missing at 09:30 local time (01:30 Spanish Peninsular Time), local authorities said.
Later, during a search and rescue operation by the emergency services, the light aircraft was found near the
rural town of Sherborne in the north of the country
The body of the victim, the sole occupant, was found in the vicinity of the accident.
Police officials explained in a press release that the accident forensic unit is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
After taking over the country just over a year ago, the Taliban took control of some US-made aircraft.
