New Microsoft Windows 11 2023 & Download Win 11 32/64 Bit…Bill Gates announced Microsoft Windows, a graphical user interface for its MS-DOS operating system that he described as “unique software designed for the serious PC user.” Offering device-independent graphics and multitasking support, Windows allowed users to run unrelated programs simultaneously and transfer data between programs. A milestone in the evolution of modern operating systems, the New Microsoft Windows 11 provided an affordable desktop computing system that helped usher in the era of PC use in homes.
Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 11 operating system has leaked online today. After screenshots were first published on the Chinese site Baidu, the entire Windows 11 OS appeared online, complete with a new user interface, a Start menu, and lots more.
The New Microsoft Windows 11 user interface and Start menu look very similar to what was originally found in Windows 10X. Microsoft had been simplifying Windows for dual-screen devices, before canceling this project in favor of Windows 11. Visually, the biggest changes you’ll notice can be found along the taskbar. Microsoft has centered the app icons here, cleaned up the tray area, and included a new Start button and menu.
Microsoft Announced Next-Gen New Windows 11 Launch
Microsoft is promising to show off the “next generation” of New Microsoft Windows 11 at a June 24th event at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT. The update, which will likely be called New Windows 11, is expected to have a revamped look for the operating system as well as updates to the platform’s built-in store.
We’ve already gotten a look at the upcoming OS ahead of the announcement, as it leaked in a somewhat usable state. From what we’ve seen, 11 will be a big visual overhaul, taking inspiration from the unreleased Windows 10X, with a redesigned taskbar and Start menu and an overall cleaner look throughout, including places like File Explorer and the Windows Store. Despite the leak, there are still some things we’ll have to wait for Microsoft to show off — for example, widgets appear to be back but aren’t functioning in the leaked version.
New Microsoft Windows 11 2023: the latest on Microsoft’s ‘next-generation OS’
This updated Start menu is a simplified version of what currently exists in Windows 10, without Live Tiles. It includes pinned apps, recent files, and the ability to quickly shut down or restart New Microsoft Windows 11 devices. It’s really a lot more simplified than what exists in Windows 10 today.
If you don’t want the app icons and Start menu centered, there’s an option to move them all back to the left-hand side. Coupled with the dark mode that’s also available, the New Windows 11 starts to look like a more refined version of Windows 10 than something dramatically new.
Microsoft said in 2015 that Windows 10 would be “the last version of Windows,” so hopefully the presentation will offer some insight as to why the company has decided to call the New Microsoft Windows 11 instead of something like Windows 10.5.
