Dead Island 2 2023: Release Date Key Feature and More – Dambuster Studios is developing the upcoming action role-playing game Dead Island 2, which Deep Silver will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It is a sequel to the video game Dead Island from 2011 and the third main Dead Island game in the series. Dead Island 2, is set a few months after the events of Dead Island.

Dead Island: Riptide which takes place in a city that has been quarantined due to the zombie plague, distinguishes itself from its predecessors. It is planned for the game to go on sale on April 28, 2023. The game, which was first unveiled in 2014, has seen a difficult development phase as a result of numerous changes in the teams working on it. Yager Development was initially hired to work on Dead Island 2 in 2012; however, the business abandoned the project in 2015, and Sumo Digital took over the following year. Additionally, Sumo Digital was replaced as the developer in 2019 by Dambuster, a Deep Silver internal company.
